Ven. Dr Tenzin Dadon (Sonam Wangmo)I support Sattva Project because the very Vision and Mission of the project is to bring peace, harmony, joy, growth and togetherness through inner healing and inner transformation. This is what Buddha has taught from the very beginning and all of us are trying to imply it on our daily lives but in the process many are confused and lost. So I believe that this Sattva project will be Noble, Natural and Generous platform to guide and inspire many to enlighten and benefit others.
I wish Sattva project to be Outstanding and Magnificent with all its wishes achieved. Thank you very much. Tashi Delek! Venerable Tsunma Tenzin DaselThe term sattva has no fewer than thirteen different usages according to Sanskritdictionary.com and each of those has multiple possibilities as well. The term can mean: light, goodness, purity, quality of balance, harmony, universalizing, holistic, constructive, creative, building, positive attitude, luminous, serenity, being-ness, peaceful, existence, entity, reality. It is a rich and complex utterance calling to a higher state of awareness.
In this regard, Sattva is a vehicle and forum to allow these qualities to come forth, express, create, manifest, and transform. Currently, multiple efforts by so many across the planet are envisioning the next stage of evolution for the mutual benefit of self and other. By creating dialogue and projects to live into higher vibrations of Dharma and collective action, we are calling on these sattvic qualities to be put into play. Sattva is an opportunity to co-create together through dialogue and visionary practices which inspire personal growth through collective participation. As a lovely prayer we recite before teachings reminds us: “Three Jewels, Buddha, Dharma, Sangha, undeceiving and everlasting sources of refuge, please be the guide, the path and companions for myself and all beings. The ultimate refuge is complete within me, for my mind is Buddha nature, enlightened from the very start.” Sattva is the ground for us to bring together all the causes and conditions to continue to nourish our Buddha seeds all the way up to enlightenment. How wonderful it is! As we participate and connect to our authentic being, may the Dharma flourish, all positive qualities arise to aid our efforts to meet all challenges, and may we all attain Buddhahood for the benefit of every sentient being! Dr Ian Baker“The historical Buddha repeatedly pointed out that his teachings were merely to reopen a primordial path to a state of being beyond the illusions fostered by ignorance, greed, and aggression. That state of intrinsic harmony is known in Sanskrit as “sattva”, a word connoting goodness and dynamic creativity. The work of the Sattvah Project promotes the harmonious exchange of ideas and collaborative projects in accord with the Buddha’s original vision of a world free of avoidable suffering and suffused with collective, sympathetic joy."
Venerable B. Saranankara MahātheraDear Friends in Dhamma,
Sometimes you are unsatisfied with your life, while many people in this world dreaming of living your life. A child on a farm sees a plane fly overhead and dreams of flying. But a pilot on the plane sees the farmhouse and dreams of returning home. That's life! Enjoy yours...... If wealth is the secret to happiness, then the rich should be dancing on the street. But only poor kids do that. If the power ensures security, then officials should walk unguarded. But those who live simply, sleep soundly. Live simply, walk humbly and love genuinely. All good will come back to you. That is the teaching of the Buddha. I wish Sattva project can become a beacon of hope and light for many people, and I pray that it will lead the Way for all of us in following the great path to ultimate happiness and perfect freedom! Sabbe sattva bhavantu suki satta........ May all beings be well, happy and peaceful..... So I wish Sattva all the best and I pray for the success of this meaningful project! Rev. Kai Lun"The Buddha is like a skilled physician in that he is able to heal the sickness of the defilements. The Dharma is like a rightly applied medicine, and the Sangha, with their defilements cured, are like people restored to health by that medicine". - Paramatthajotika 21

Sister Loh Pai LingI support Sattva Project because it is a good project worthy of support. Our Founder, the late Ven Dr K Sri Dhammananda once said: When certain good thought appears in the mind, the mind must have the courage to do something, to serve others, to maintain human dignity, to develop our human values; gives credit to our human intelligence by using that mind correctly. And, also the Purpose of our Life is to do some services to others. Without serving others, we cannot serve ourselves.
I wish Sattva Project all the very best and attained its Vision and Mission as aspired. Dr Mattia Salvini
sattva is a great choice of names, itself showing that the project begins from wholesome causes and conditions: I understand it as meaning both ‘sentient being’ as well as ‘intention’ and even ‘goodness’, and my own impression is that the driving force of this project is the intention to benefit sentient beings. The project starts from basic human concerns as the foundation for an open-minded Buddhist platform, with participants from different traditions, and is set up so as to appeal to a broad audience. It will help many people in forming a genuine connection with the Dharma and find deep joy in it; this seems like one of the best ways to use visible means to help the continuation of the invisible Dharma in the mind of sattvas.
bhavatu vaḥ sarvamaṅgalam Imee OoiThe Sattva project is a much needed and anticipated work for the world and its people in this trying times. What more better ways to heal and install faith back into the human minds. May we deal with the now and move forward to our future with the positive essences becoming here, Sadhu!
Charlotte LimMay each and every habitants on earth will have the chance to discover their true innate nature.
Kong Keen YungI support Sattva because in order Buddhism to continue to be relevant at this mordern turbulant times, it needs to continually engage in dialouges with various disciplines so that it can evolve and adapt to modern needs.
I am very excited that Sattva has pooled together a collective of good intentions from different backgrounds. Patricia SniderI support the Sattva project because I align with spirit that underlies the creation of Sattva: Open Heart-Open Mind.
It speaks of coming together to create social harmony through the embodiment of practicing a moral philosophy which inspires transformation. Sattva or light -bearer begins with the simplest of steps which is to think of the Buddha as a moral compass, a guide to a virtuous life in service to others. May the aspirations of this unique platform to foster growth, instill peace, and promote healing be manifested with integrity and joyfulness. Karl LaRoweI support the Sattva Project because we are at a crucible of transformation in which every person is called to discover their authentic voice. In discovering and empowering our best self to share, harmonize and synergize with other voices we can heal and transform ourselves individually and our world collectively.

I rejoice in this Sattva Project very much!
This world needs more harmonious interaction and meaningful togetherness more than ever, especially dialogues and communion between religions, science and other cultural set-ups of humanity. The Sattva project is going to be the beacon of wisdom and light for the world, a platform of inter-being that is based on universal values such as integrity, inter-connectedness and inclusive transformation. I personally believe that this unique platform will bring together many capable Buddhist scholars and skillful teachers, who would be passionate in bringing people together, to form alliances for peace and joy, and to connect the East and West in a unified platform, by the name of “Sattva” – meaning “beings” or light, goodness and purity. I express my heartfelt and sincere prayers for the Sattva Project. May this meaningful project bring peace, joy, compassion and hope to this world. I rejoice in this meaningful project, and I’m ready to contribute my very best in making Sattva a great success! Venerable Sing KanNowadays, the whole world is facing so much of violence, uncertainties, incurable sicknesses, etc.
Thus, who has a mind at peace? Peace is one of the integral vision of the Sattva Project and is established at the right timing where people are facing mental and physical sufferings. The Buddha taught that peaceful minds lead to peaceful speech and peaceful actions. If the minds of living beings are at peace, the world will be at peace. I wish Sattva Project success and will give my full support in whatever I can. Dr Eunice Chan
I support Sattva Project because I believe that this unique platform will offer a wide scope of positive practices to inspire or transform the state of our mind effectively. I have great faith and trust in Sattva!
I wish Sattva Project is shooting up like a big tree with a thick strong canopy which would protect anyone who is looking for a shelter for wellbeing in life. I send all my best wishes and sincere prayers to the Sattva Project! Niraj KumarIn the later Buddhist tradition, there is a hierarchy of the state of accomplishment for an intelligent and conscious being: Vajrasattva, Mahasattva, Sarvasattva, Bodhisattva, Samaysattva and Sattva...
Sattva is the first step of the ladder. We all are Sattvas—the sentient beings who are conscious, contemplative and performers. I support this movement as it is not bound by race, creed, geography or ideology. The goal of the movement is pious and it aims for the greatest good of the sentient humanity. Sattva aims to connect people with the common thread of peace, joy and prosperity. May the movement spread far and wide! Cat LiuSattvah aims to provide a safe and open platform and resource, accessible to all those who value peace, wisdom, and joy. I am very grateful to be a part of this project that enables individuals to connect with themselves and the wider community. To transform challenges, strengthen our potentials and live life to the fullest.
Rita XavierI support Sattva Project because I believe it is through dialogue and action that we can grow and heal the world. The world needs more constructive communication, specially between cultures and countries, and the east and the west, bringing the very best of each other, and learning from each other. As we have been seeing with the world current state of pandemic, we need new ways of looking and approaching problems, and connecting with each other. We need a new paradigm. I believe that this is what the Sattva's Project is about. A means of shifting the paradigm, through dialogue, respect, harmony, empowering people, and positive actions.
I wish all the best to Sattva's Project! |
